Get Backers Episode 7-9 Thoughts:

When watching these, all I could think of was "Hey, Shido and Kazuki are like Ginji's overprotective family who don't approve of his new boyfriend!" Which I guess isn't far off from the truth. XD

Everyone who said I'd like Madoka...you're right. Hey, any girl who will defend Ginji's honor gets in my good books any day! And she really hit the guy who smacked "Ginji-chan" around right where it hurts. Go Madoka! :D

And while I haven't seen too much of a Shido/Madoka vibe yet, when Shido didn't whistle, it was obvious from his knowing glance that Kazuki knew the reason why. Damn, but I like Kazuki - almost as much as I like Ginji.

The stunned looks on everyone's faces as they realise that Madoka is falling for Shido are priceless. XD

Ginji can call for Ban, and Ban senses it, even though he can't possibly hear him over the thunder. So Ban does indeed have a "Ginji-sense". And Ban helping Ginji up...the looks on their faces are so sweet. :D

I sort of wish Hevn would get a more prominent part - I like her, but she always seems stuck in the background like Paul and Natsumi. Does the manga have any chapters that focus closely on any of those characters? I mean, they've given us episodes on Shido, and Kazuki, and Himiko, etc. but none on Hevn. :(

And the touching scene between Shido and Madoka, when he returns the violin, is so sweet. Even if Ginji is in the background trying to keep Ban-chan from murdering Shido. XD

Dammit, why must all the couples on this show be so CUTE! >_<

Also helped Will and Jordan draft an appeals letter to the Student Life Office. Sometimes I think I'm too nice.

Yes, they are like the overprotective family aren't they? Kazuki's like the mom, Shido the dad, and Makubex is the younger brother. ... ... ... Ok. I'll stop now. >_<;

I love Kazuki! He's almost overtaken Ban's place in my heart! His Fuuchoin string fighting style kicks ass. He's intelligent. And he's so damn maidenly. ~<3 I gotta say though, that funky wide (almost shoulder-less) shirt thing he's wearing could use some improvement. Why are there so many fugly clothes in this series? -_-

Yeah, most of the clothes in this series are hideous. I mean, Ban's the only one with any semblance of taste (and Hevn, but her more in a trampy sort of way). Ginji and Kazuki especially are walking fashion traumas.

Also, why does Shido have no eyebrows? O_o

Yeah, Hevn's outfits aren't too bad. And she has more than one, which is a big plus. Himiko's on the other hand. Uh, what's with the funky purple leotard?

I have no idea on Shido's missing eyebrows. He could have had them burnt off during the fire when... er. and not to spoil you anymore than that. Maybe they'll explain this at some point?
