MOTHERFUCKING GNATS

...sorry, I walked to the Sycamore Mall today to see Forgetting Sarah Marshall and the gnats along the way WORE MY SHIT OUT.

I've gotta say, the movie was pretty awesome, as I expected. It helped that three people were involved whom I already enjoy - Judd Apatow, Kristen Bell and Russell Brand - and it was overall quite as good as I thought it'd be, and surprisingly less raunchy than Apatow's other stuff. (For example, I can totally see showing this to my parents and them liking it in a way that I can't imagine with, say, The 40-Year-Old Virgin or Knocked Up.)

Also, lol, but Russell Brand makes his own herpes jokes. ALSO THE CONVERSATION ABOUT KBELL'S KILLER CELLPHONE MOVIE WAS TOTALLY AWESOME, Y/Y

(If you haven't seen it yet, stay at least through the end of the first bit of credits, since that's when you see what really happens with Sarah Marshall.)

Review of today's ep of Doctor Who forthcoming, but let's just say I'm gonna be sleeping with all the lights on tonight. Also, the concept of Data Ghosts is quite possibly the most disturbing thing to watch EVER.

I don't know if this makes you feel better, but I'm horribly allergic to mosquito bites and swell up something nasty (and therefore in summer cannot go outside in the evening)

Thank God they're not mosquitoes - if they were I would not leave my apartment. Still, even though they can't really bite, having them fly behind my glasses or buzzing in my ears is enough to make me FLIP MY SHIT.

You should move someplace where there are no mosquitoes! We actually don't have too much in the way of them here, as far as I've seen.

This episode of Doctor Who was like the most awesome ever. It might be my new favorite. I mean giant library planet, mystery women who knows the Doctor, strange little girl security camera? Dude it was awesome, I didn't want it to end. I'm going to go crazy until next week.

Gnats do suck, we used to get them a lot at the bus stop as kids. I hate when they get in your eyes, it's yucky. Lucky this year we haven't had a lot of them.

Yeah, it's the eyes and the ears that bother me the most. It also doesn't help that I tend to sweat a lot, and so the sweat in my hair draws them all to my face. :(
