1. Why do you dislike #11 so much? (Scott/Emma)

Ehhh, not because I'm an ardent Scott/Jean shipper, that's for sure; mostly because in recent years they have made Scott from a bore into a dick (to match the movies, I guess) and Emma Frost is one of my favorite X-Men characters, so she's way too good for him (not morally, because she's pretty amoral; just in AWESOMEOSITY).

2. Who do you know that ships #13? (Akihiko/Junpei)

Well, I know there's one person in one of the Megaten communities who does and writes a shitload of slash for it, which is why I've found myself starting to gravitate toward that pairing; it's just so wrong it's right, you know? (Also you know while they were all mind-controlled in that love hotel, they were up to the same thing Headphones-kun and Yukari were!)

3. What would be your ideal scenario for couple #3? (Nathan/Peter)

...the show as is? Honestly I'm not sure they could go much farther than they have on primetime TV; they hug, they kiss, they touch, they save each other from horrible death, etc. XD

4. What is your favorite moment for #1? (Tatsuya/Jun)

OH GOD THIS IS SO HARD. Honestly, within the game it's probably the combo you get when you choose Jun as your lover; Tatsuya's all "..." and Jun's all "You don't need to talk for me to know what you're thinking," which is kind of cute. However outside of strict canon it would definitely have to be something from the Errors of Their Youth drama CD: I'm torn between the one that sounds like a BL sex scene only to turn out to be watching a chick hatching (with lots of "touch it, it's hard" and "ahhh, it's coming out!"), Jun's insane gay fortunetelling where he predicts his compatibility with Tatsuya, and of course the infamous "Tatsuya underwear" scene. (God, that drama CD makes Jun way more insane and gay than in the game, AND IN THE GAME HE'S CLINICALLY PSYCHOTIC FOR MUCH OF THE STORYLINE AND IS A CANON GAY LOVE INTEREST. So that takes some doing!)

5. How long have you been following couple #6? (Katsuya/Maya)

Another P2 pairing! Well, in canon, P2 seems to switch between hooking Maya up with Tatsuya and hooking her up with Katsuya; I prefer Tatsuya with Jun (as I discussed in my last question), as his relationship with Maya in IS is very big-sistery, which makes pairing them in EP seem really squicky. Whereas Katsuya is adorable (he's a policeman who loves cats and cake-baking) and reliable and badass and totally has a huge crush on her. Plus, then she could literally be Tatsuya's oneesan! :D

6. What's the story with #8? What made you stop caring? (Anya/Giles)

Sadly, it was just the lack of support in canon; "Tabula Rasa" was the ep that launched a thousand ships (though they'd kind of had something going ever since "Triangle," though it was unclear whether it was romantic or paternal), but aside from one scene in S7 they never really got any good one-on-one alone interaction (i.e., without the full Scooby gang around) ever again. And then of course she got bisected in the finale. D:

7. Which ship do you prefer -- #2 or #4? (Doctor/Rose or Buffy/Spike)

Haha, it's funny because both relationships have been accused of the exact same writing flaws. I would say currently it's Doctor/Rose, just because I'm really into Who at the moment; I love Buffy/Spike, but haven't had much to work with since Buffy ended (since they haven't, y'know, interacted since then). But honestly I do think Doctor/Rose is much more functional than Buffy/Spike. (Which is sad, given how codependent Doctor/Rose is. XD)

8. You have the power to make one ship non-existent. Choose from #10 or #12. (Tru/Harrison or Squall/Rinoa)

#12 all the way! I mean, at least Tru and Harrison have a convincing, caring relationship in canon, so one could make a case for it proceeding to incestuous levels; whereas Squall's feelings for Rinoa are pretty much "stfu tard" for about 2/3 of the game and then suddenly become TWOO WUB, which is really WTF given that Rinoa is a whiny, spoiled brat. XD

God, it feels so strange to say that the non-canon incest pairing is more convincing than the canon het pairing, BUT IT'S TRUE.

9. What interests you about #14? (Chase/Victor)

I've got to admit, part of it is shallowness; they're both pretty, and I like both of their (completely dorky) characters and the way their (tardish) interactions play off each other. Also the scene where Chase walks in on Victor sleeping in the raw and is all "OH GOD FULL FRONTAL NUDITY MY EYES MY EYES" seems just a lee-tuhl too much of a "the delinquent doth protest too much" moment. (Also Chase certainly finds himself noticing certain parts of Victor's anatomy, heh. XD)

10. When did you stop liking #7? (Veronica/Logan)

Honestly, it was in part seeing through the events of the show that Logan/Veronica was not going to be either healthy or long-term - EVER - but the majority of it was probably because LoVe shippers are the BATSHITTIEST SHIPPERS EVAR. SERIOUSLY THEY'RE LIKE SPUFFY COMBINED WITH ROSEFEN, NO JOKE. (A few of them even started leading a campaign to GET THE SHOW CANCELLED in its final season, when everyone else was trying to save it, which was COMPLETELY wtf to me.)

11. Did your waning interest in #9 kill your interest in the series? (Wesley/Lilah)

Honestly, it's kind of the other way round; the end of the series is what led to my waning interest. Similar to Anya/Giles, it's hard to ship a pairing where one member is either a zombie or in hell, and the other member is either dead or a zombie (depending on whether you consider the Angel s6 comics canon). And honestly Lilah was the part of that pairing I was really interested anyway; once she died I didn't care if Wes hooked up with Fred or Illyria or Gunn or Angel.

12. What's a song that reminds you of #5? (Angel/Cordelia)

Probably the track "Farewell Cordelia" off the Angel: Live Fast, Die Never soundtrack, which is the pretty orchestral bit that plays during their final scene together in "You're Welcome," including the sweeping crescendo to Cordelia's "to hell with it, I'mma get one for the road" last kiss with Angel. ;_;

13. Which of these ships do you love the most right now?

Right now I would have to say Doctor/Rose, because seriously I CRIED FOR LIKE AN HOUR AFTER "DOOMSDAY." ;_;

14. Which do you dislike the most?

Squall/Rinoa. But mostly because I dislike Rinoa and find the entire relationship implausibly shown; there's no leadup to liking her, it's just "U SUCK...OH WAIT, I GUESS I LUV U." Also because Squall/Quistis would have been way cooler. XD

15. If you could have any of these pairings double date, who would they be?

Tatsuya/Jun and Nathan/Peter. Peter and Tacchan are both angsty, skinny monkeyspanks with memory issues, and Nathan and Jun are both charismatic leaders who occasionally want to kill boatloads of people for the greater good. XD

16. Have #2 kissed yet? Elaborate if yes. (Doctor/Rose)

Yes, at least twice in canon; Nine kisses Rose to take the energy from the heart of the TARDIS from her and into himself in the first season finale, and Cassandra-in-Rose's-body pulls Ten down into a liplock in "New Earth" (to which the Doctor replies, to himself, "Yup, still got it." XD).

17. Did #4 have a happy ending? Do you think one is likely? (Buffy/Spike)

Well, he did get burned alive saving the world, but then he got better? But she doesn't know that, I don't think (unless Andrew told her). And I think since Spike seems generally to be a good guy now, she has more of a chance at a happy ending with him than with Angel (just personality-wise and sex-wise; obviously the whole "vampire, will long outlive her" thing still holds, unfortunately).

18. What would make you start shipping #14? (Chase/Victor)

Well, a) getting to read good fanfic about the pairing, and b) getting a few more bones thrown (no dirty pun intended, heh) in canon. XD

19. If only one could happen, which would you prefer --#2 or #6? (Doctor/Rose or Katsuya/Maya)

Katsuya/Maya; much as I like Doctor/Rose, it seems unlikely that they'll be able to have much of a lasting relationship, given the difference in lifespans (and while we know they meet at some point in S4, there's still nothing to say that at the end of that they won't still be in separate alternate universes).

20. You have the power to decide the fate of #10. What happens to them? (Tru/Harrison)

Errr, they stay happy and strictly siblingly? Honestly, I love their sibling relationship, but depite Eliza Dushku's and Shawn Reaves' undeniable hotness, I'd rather not see anything sexual between them (and since canon ended a couple of years ago, I find it unlikely that I will unless I go looking for it).
