PUT IT IN YOUR MOUTH

Wow, I can tell I've hit finals paper-writing time, because since I'm at the computer pretty much 24/7 I'm making like 3 gazillion LJ posts a day.
I've been trying to eat healthy for the past week and a half or so, and have actually been doing a pretty good job, all things considered. Today is a lost cause, though, I think, given that my response to the stress of paperwriting is "GOM GOM MUST EAT EVERYTHING IN SIGHT." In semi-related news, I totally found E.L. Fudge cookies today...I remember them well from childhood, but I didn't think they even made them anymore! :9

(I mean, I know you've posted about your own backslides, but somehow they seem positively virtuous compared to my backslide over the past 24 hours.)
It's all my Rhetoric class' fault not eating all the snacks I brought for them! I don't care if there were only like 12 people there on the last day, they needed to do their part so I didn't end up eating cookies and Doritos all weekend. D:

The easiest meal for me to make healthy was breakfast, which basically involves a can of fruit and/or a bowl of whole-grain cereal, but I've been slowly discovering semi-healthy options for other meals as well.
And honestly, I cheat sometimes on my gut diet anyway - I technically shouldn't have pepperoni, and I DEFINITELY shouldn't have corn or popcorn, but I eat those sometimes anyway. (In fact, I eat pepperoni pretty regularly, heh.) So I guess I realized that if I can make exceptions for unhealthy foods, I should make exceptions for healthy foods as well, and I don't mind doing so for the occasional can of pineapple or healthy high-fiber cereal.
