Interesting English factoid of the day: "punk" originally meant "whore" (as seen in Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor).
...the more you know, right?
Also,
jantalaimon rocks like a...very rocking thing (I can't think of a comparison). I came home yesterday to find a package of homemade candy and cookies from her...thank you! <3 <3 <3
The chocolates are delicious...and I haven't tried the springerle yet, but they smell deliciously ofabsinthe anise. :D
Er, it's been a while since I posted and I don't really have much new to say, but I do have a helluva lot of linkspam! :D
Let's Positive Linking!
- Shortpacked! A fun webcomic about a toy store. (From someone on IRC, I forget who.) But how can you not like jokes like this? Or this?
- 10 Ways to Kill Malfoy. A funny little fanthing. (From
jokersama.)
- Softcore Twinkies, Hardcore Relations. A funny but entirely disturbing and not worksafe HariPo fanfic from the same site. Ew.
- Stupidest movie title EVAR. I'm just hoping Samuel Jackson says some version of "motherfucker" at some point during the movie. "There are motherfucking snakes on this plane!" or something along those lines.
- Hideo Kojima acts like Uwe Boll has moviemaking cooties. He's not wrong. XD
- Yes, Wikipedia does have entries on any and everything.
- A creepy-ass silent hill music video. Probably not worksafe. (From
jokersama.)
- In the latest from the "recut trailers" department, it's Brokeback to the Future. (From
jantalaimon.)
- Another recut trailer, this time for Sleepless in Seattle. :D
- Teen crack whore author actually middle-aged woman. Who is probably not a crack whore.
- Apparently the Slam Dunk! mangaka gets hit with plagiarism charges right after pressing them on someone else. (From
jokersama.) D:
- Flickeur, a cool thing that takes random pictures off Flickr and creates a film. Mine always end up looking like something out of the Fatal Frame games or Ring movies.
- AICN does a set report for Neil Gaiman's Beowulf, which I now want to see, like, YESTERDAY. :D~~~
