Time to buckle down.

Raine: I wonder what the enemy's name was.
Colette: I like Poochie!
Raine: No, dear, I was referring to the species.
I'll be mostly offline (LJ/AIM/everything except e-mail) for the next week or so...I've got SO MUCH TO DO next week it's not even funny. (A brief list: paper on Tuesday, paper + presentation on Wednesday - for which I need to finish the scholarly book I was talking about a few days back - presentation on Thursday, and presentation the Tuesday after. Basically, about 30-40% of my grade this semester in ALL my classes depends on what I turn in/deliver next week.) So, assuming I don't go batshit crazy and get carried off to an insane asylum, frothing at the mouth, I should be back online as usual around next Thursday or so, earlier if I finish earlier (psh, yeah, like that'll happen).
If you want/need to talk to me before then, your best bet is to leave me a comment here or e-mail me (like I said, I will still be checking my e-mail, so I'll still be getting any e-mailed LJ comments).
I've also unplugged my GameCube and PS2, so you know I'm serious. See this? This is my resolve-face. T_T
Anyway, I'll leave you with Orson Scott Card's extremely positive review of Serenity. I totally disagree with just about every political opinion the guy holds, but I still enjoy his books and I generally trust his taste when it comes to sci-fi/fantasy, especially since he gave Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell a glowing review. (However, no, he's not being sarcastic at the end of the Serenity review: he really does like Full House that much, as he mentions in other reviews. Eep.)
