gogmagog | Bored now.

Well, my Intro to Grad Studies class has been moved an hour late (to 4), so I have a couple of hours to kill. And what better way to do so than to post a nice long LJ entry?

So...what shall I write about? I could write about the half-hour long ramble I had in my head about Gilgamesh and problematizing the role of female desire (which destroys the world...multiple times). Oddly enough, said ramble was precipitated by reading a scholarly article on Chaucer's Wife of Bath, and I saw some similarities to Gilgamesh's Countess (believe it or not!).

I could write about my classmates, but I'm at a public lab computer and this would probably not be the best time to write a roman a clef about my fellow students. (I'm afraid if I say anything bad about them they'll cut me.)

So instead, I'll write about...nothing, because it's now 20 to 4 and I have yet to have a decent idea about what to write about. I'll write about the above this evening, promise! In lieu of actual content, though, have some random links! :D
