"WINTRY MIX" CAN BLOW ME

In cheerier news, I just discovered that my mom's Mexican cookbook is coming out in October (this is the book she was working on over Christmas break, which I may or may not have mentioned). This isn't her first time on Amazon - a chapbook of her poems is up there already - but somehow as a full-size book this seems more, I dunno, significant, in spite of being a cookbook.

Also, you can now buy custom-made steampunk keyboards. I want one of these so badly but I can't justify spending that kind of money...clearly I need to figure out how to make my own awesome custom keyboards, since I can't afford one of those ones. D:

Finally, I find myself simultaneously pleased that we're not dropping below about 20 for our high temperatures this week (this means it's unlikely we'll get -30 windchill), and deeply discouraged that we've apparently got about half a dozen snowfalls scheduled for the next week and a half, according to Weather.com. D:

Edit: Also Persona 3: FES has been announced for official U.S. release, woohoo! :D

Not that I hadn't been expecting it for a while, due to rumors, but still, I'm glad it's finally confirmed and will be coming out soon!
