Finally got around to watching the first few eps of the Fruits Basket anime. I have much love for the manga, so I was worried about the anime (especially since the series is so short), but my concern turned out to be unfounded. It seems to have done a pretty good job of things so far.
I am greatly amused by the fact that Yuki has a higher voice and sounds more feminine than Tohru, though.
Also, an article EVERYONE should read: TIME interviews Joss Whedon and Neil Gaiman in a joint interview. Two of our greatest pop culture treasures for the price of one! It's worth it if for nothing other than to hear Joss and Neil snarking about Catwoman. XD
Though there was an interesting thing mentioned in the interview: apparently Neil Gaiman is doing a Death: the High Cost of Living movie. (New Line will be starting it next year, under the title Death and Me.) *insert a very manly SQUEEEE*
And a meme:
Chances are people you don't even know are being introduced to your journal every day, either randomly or through someone else. In addition to recent entries, people can get to know you better by what you posted in the past. With that in mind post a link to your entries on this day three months ago, six months ago, nine months ago, a year ago, and two years ago. If there was no entry on that day, link the closest date.
[Three months] [Six months] [Nine months] [One year] [Two years]
...Wow, I'm boring. XD
Edit: ...funnily enough, in looking at the post after that "two years ago" entry, it turned out to be about the announcement of Advent Children. It was titled "Just as long as they DON'T REVIVE AERIS."
...
...damn, sometimes I hate being prescient.
