Crank wankers

Buffy class on Tuesday was a bucketload of fun. We got Minsky's pizza, chips and soda, ate them while we watched "Surprise" and "Innocence," and then discussed it. Oh, and we found out that our teacher is actually friends with Zach Galifianakis, who plays Davis on Tru Calling. COOLEST. CLASS. EVAR. Man, y'know, I wish my "real" classes were this fun, instead of crappy group work and buttloads of reading.

...yes, I'm still gutted by Angel's cancellation, but I'm dealing. (Note to self: change the crocodile feeding to 2 p.m. rather than 3, and halve the numbers. The remaining WB execs will be fed to lions at 4.)

I've been reading a novel called Hades' Daughter, by Sara Douglass. I've noticed quite a few similiarities to Angel season 4, though. MAJOR SPOILERS for those who haven't read the novel:

- a man-beast with horns who creates a knife using his own bones;
- he gives it to a woman who has a former goddess living in her womb, which commands her to kill an evil, scheming bitch by stabbing her in the neck with said bone knife;
- oh, and said possessed-killer-woman is named...Cornelia.

I wonder whether these similarities are just coincidental. O_o
