I've decided against teh Buffy...with all the great games coming up, THAT'S what I need to save my money for. Phantom Brave, Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne...THOSE are what I need to be focusing on.
By the way, if you've ever wondered what kind of folks call in to those Nintendo helplines, here's a funny article about it. Gaming tard humor never gets old.
And a kinda boring quiz about the Final Fantasy series:
1) What's the first FF game you ever played?
Good ol' FFI. I must have been about 6 or 7, and I remember getting my ass royally whupped by Garland.
2) Which FF games have you already completely played?
I've beaten FFI, FFIV, FFVI, FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX, FFX, FF:MQ (bleh), and FFT. I've played, but not beaten, FFII, FFIII, FFV, FFX-2, and FFTA. The only one I haven't yet played is Crystal Chronicles (and FFXI, if you count that).
3) What's the current FF game that you're playing OR the last game you played?
Well, I'm rebuilding all my lost saves, so I'm currently playing FFI, FFII, FFV, FFVI, FFVIII, FFX-2, FFT, and FFTA off-and-on.
4) What's your favorite FF game that you've played so far?
Probably a tie between FFVIII and FFX, despite VIII's vapid Rinoa and X's Whiny McWankerson.
5) In your opinion, which FF has the most tragic end/storyline?
Uhh, I'd have to go withFFVIII because Squall ends up with Rinoa rather than with his soulmate Seifer (omgtheirloveissoforbidden) FFX because of the ending, which actually made me cry. >_<
6) Name your favorite female and male character from any FF game.
Female: Cerise/Celes (FFVI), Quistis (FFVIII) or Lulu (FFX)
Male: Cid (FF7), Zidane (FFIX), Gippal (FFX-2)
7) What FF couples do you like?
Uh, I've always thought Squall should hook up withSeifer Quistis, and I have a soft spot for Zidane/Dagger. And you have to include Quina/Vivi here, just for the WTF-ness of it.
8) Finally...Who do you look like the most from all of the FF characters?
Ehhh...I don't really look like any of the FF characters, I think. The closest is probably Malak from FFT (though I'm not really dark-skinned enough).
