I like Maria's bizarre hoard of obscure Goetic knowledge! And while her clear idolization of Beatrice may make her too stupid to live from one perspective, from the other she figures she's going to the Golden Land and everything will be awesome, so it makes sense that she'd behave that way? (Especially with the bipolar Rosa as a mom.)
I take it the fourth episode character that people hate is the main character from the future chapter? I haven't met her, but given the hilariously hard-headed awesomeness of her sibling, I can't imagine I wouldn't like her. XD
