I got 49, counting 1 that I am currently reading and not counting several that sucked so bad I had to quit (like Moby Dick). I also counted Anne of Green Gables even though I never actually finished it, because I have started it approximately 4 times and even got to within 30 pages of finishing one time, but never did finish. Not that it sucks, it was great, I just had a baaaad habit of reading two or three or four books at the same time as a child and that meant some stuff went unfinished.
It was interesting to me to see the books that I had read that you hadn't, merely because I went to public high school and you didn't - like Animal Farm, I never would have read that on my own.
