The G.o.W.2 thing is about the opposite of offensive for me. Even if you can't get around the specifics to consider it cool in an ancient Greece way, compared to the slaughterhouse that makes your cold-cuts that party is tame. Humane even.
My wife thought the Heroes spoof was bad because they seemed to be mean spirited about it. But I agree that the Niki/Jessica bit is genius. Proof that the Marx bros. humor never expires.
The death star bit is excellent. Similar to some a great Star Wars Tales comic involving a Vader/Tarkin debate about the death star designs("do bottomless pits need guard railings?" "Do you know how much that would cost?!") and Robot Chicken's general genius.
The Metal Gear Ascii doesn't seem to be working for me, but have you seen Ascii Sector? A Ascii remake of Wing Commander Privateer: http://www.asciisector.net/
