Something my fellow nerdy-types will possibly find funny: The Guild, a webisode series (link goes to the first episode) about a party of fighters in an MMORPG, presumably World of Warcraft. It's written by and stars Felicia Day, better known as potential Slayer Vi from Buffy's final season and the female lead, Penny, in Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog; she plays the lead, Cyd/"Codex," who is the group's healer and a total shut-in. When one of the other members of the guild, Zaboo, shows up on her doorstep (having misinterpreted her emoticons and therefore convinced that they have a romantic relationship), things sort of explode, with the guild members finally meeting in person and ending up having to use the skills they developed online in real life. XD
It's kind of hilarious and awesome; my favorite character is Clara, the sweet but spacey stay-at-home mom who does no actual mothering (one hilarious scene involves her baby gnawing on a surge protector while she cheerfully chatters away), but all the characters are generally pretty fun too. There's Tink, the bitchy girl who always carries a Nintendo DS with her; Vork, the overly uptight and conscientious man who serves as guild leader; Bladezzz, the horndog douchebag of a teenager; and of course Zaboo, who is a creepy stalker in the way that you find funny but feel horrible for finding funny, and who has a tendency to use catchphrases that end in "d," such as "Doorstep'd!"
So check it out, if you enjoy dorky nerd humor and funny dialogue. XD
