The plague strikes again

A few years back there was a kind of awesome BAFTA award-winning animation of Gawain and the Green Knight by a couple of Irish animation studios. It's quite gorgeously animated, in a stained-glass style, and shockingly quite true to the original. It has yet to be released on DVD, but fortunately someone has put it up on YouTube (part 1, part 2, and part 3). I'm sure it's way prettier in non-YouTube format, but it still looks pretty awesome...watch it if you're interested!

I'm feeling under the weather - sore throat, stuffy nose, cough, etc. - and have all day, so I'm not gonna do much but take some NyQuil and then zonk out. So in lieu of content, links!

- This week's edition of Target: Women, yogurt commercials! (From jokersama.) Because all women love yogurt, especially middle-class white women who wear gray hoodies and are on diets!
- EPB: Emergency Party Button (from jokersama)...this is pretty awesome, complete with cheesy 90's dancepop, but I don't think I'd want it in my house. XD
- Is Levitol right for you? (From, you guessed it, jokersama.) Best (pseudo-)pharmaceutical commercial ever, and an example of how good Mad TV can be on the rare occasions when it's good.
- Bill O'Reilly is a frothing nutbag, but we all knew that already. (From ahebert.) Still, this is hilarious and worth a watch if you haven't seen it already.
- WOLL SMOTH AND FRONDS. I don't know why these never fail to make me laugh, but I always find them HILARIOUS. I just think it's too bad they haven't included the one Doctor Who one I've seen (ROS TOYLOR). XD
