Re: the party at lordtravis' tomorrow...I don't have a car (or a driver's license), and it seems pointless to ask Travis to drive all the way from Coralville to pick me up, so could I hitch a ride with one of you who's also coming from Iowa City? I know aurianrose is in Coralville, but iowayehudit, you're driving from IC, right? How about you, bshippotemkin?

- AWWWW, poor kitty! I realize it's not exactly a PETA offense, and is kinda cute, but I'm still vaguely horrified at this. D:
- In the immortal battle of hippo versus antelope, the winner is clear. I have a lot of "animals acting cutely retarded" links today for some reason.
- Cat rides pony. OMG CUTE OVERLOAD. (See what I mean about the animals?)
- Apparently Rick Moranis is now a Grammy-nominated country-western singer. I...have nothing to say about that. Except that I didn't like him as an actor particularly, so hopefully this will be a better niche for him.
- A new webcomic about grad student life. This one comes out of UT, and while it's good is not as good as the great Piled Higher and Deeper.
- All about orz. (From jokersama, as are most of the above links.) I had been wondering about this for a while.
- Marvel Zombies seriously sounds like the stupidest comic book IN THE HISTORY OF TIME. Who had the genius idea "oh, let's do a comic book about philosophical superhero zombies!" I mean, seriously. >_<
- Red Cross of Canada attacks videogame makers, because they're - OH NOES! - using a red cross symbol for health packs! Gasp! It's a good thing they don't have anything else to do, like help disaster victims or keep people from starving, and can now go after WHAT REALLY MATTERS.
- And for the upcoming Valentine's Day, let your sweetheart know how much you care, Solo style! XDDDDDD
