The big bad is back!

...only not so much with the badness. XD

Anyway, I am now back in good ol' I.C. I was not robbed during my monthlong vaca (yay!) and I came home to a crapload of mail, including a Christmas card from angrybabble (thank you! Your "crappy" fanart of Jun is way better than my "good" fanart! And now I have YOUR address for fiendish purposes! >D) and a mess o' BPAL, which will hopefully all be reviewed (along with my ever-growing still-unreviewed backlog) within the next few days.

My parents ended up bringing me up, since (thanks to an overscheduled holiday break and an ill mother) I didn't really get enough driving to be back in practice after five months of being an avid pedestrian. I don't think I'd be able to pass the test (though I think I'd ace the parallel parking bit now!). I'll practice some more at Spring Break if/when I go back then, and I'll take the driving test when I go back over the first part of the summer (before the summer semester starts).

In the meantime, my parents are still up here - they're gonna meet me for breakfast at the Bread Garden sometime in the next hour or so and then we're going to go to Target and get me another bookcase or two. (Seriously, my book whoredom knows no bounds.) Then they'll head back down to KC and I'll spend the rest of today and tomorrow getting things cleaned up and prepared for class. This semester will actually be pretty chill, I think - no classes before noon (though I do have evening classes every day I have classes, I think) and Fridays off. <3
