Pirates + Jell-O = LOVE

...have I mentioned lately that I love Scary Go Round? XD

Well, I was feeling like utter crap today - headachey and sniffly and coughy and all that. (Running around in the rain yesterday was probably a bad idea since I was already sick anyway.) So I took a sick day. It gave me more time to polish my Chaucer draft too, which is a Good Thing. So I've spent today doing that and puttering around, incorporating the stuff I brought up from home into my apartment setup. It's starting to look halfway livable again! :D

Because pirates and Jell-O make everything better, I've also been watching Pirates of the Caribbean with the Depp/Verbinski commentary track on. My favorite bit so far is probably their talking about their original meeting, where they tossed around the idea of Jack Sparrow having had his nose cut off and reattached, so it would always be kind of blue due to circulation problems and, instead of fearing death, he would fear things like the common cold and pepper. I'm kinda glad they didn't take that tack, but it was interesting hearing about it. XD
