Well, my Romantic Lit professor invited all of us to come to her house for dinner this evening, so I went. It was pretty fun, and while I did my usual "sit and smile and mostly listen to everyone else talk" thing that I do when around people I don't know very very well, most of my classmates are pretty fun to listen to so it wasn't unpleasant. And I think it's important that I AM making the effort in these things...I don't mind being known as shy, but I'd rather not be considered antisocial or standoffish because I'm really not.
In other news I turned in my second Romantic Lit paper today. All I have left for the semester is final papers in Chaucer and Romantic Lit and a final exam in Intro to Contemporary Lit Theory. Yay, I've almost survived my first semester of grad school! (I hope?)
Er, look for an exciting post on the wackiness of otakukin tomorrow! :D
