Mother knows best

Today I ate alone at a restaurant for the first time ever. (Fast food places, obviously, don't count.) It was kind of weird, but the food was good - nice and hot on a kind of chilly day - and it was really a much less distractible place than my apartment to do my psychoanalysis reading for tomorrow's theory class (despite the Law and Order blaring on the restaurant TV). For the record, I went to Joe's Grill (the place I had breakfast with rathershady and courters28 on Sunday), and it was pretty much deserted at 7 p.m., which I'd think was prime dinner time. Oh well, maybe it was just an off day for them.

Also, it's gotten chilly today. Bleh.
