BUSY BUSY BUSY
Jul. 19th, 2005 03:39 pmWelp, we saw my sister off on the bus today. It was a really nice visit, and I'm glad she made it. I just kind of wish it hadn't been NOW, because as much as I loved seeing her, I've made no progress on packing or cleaning or my driver's test and I'M LEAVING IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AUGH.
On the plus side, we had to do quite a bit of work to have my room ready for her to come up, so it's not as bad as it WAS. On the other hand, between not being able to do any cleaning while she was here and my mom's shortlived war with the Big Pickup section of city management, we ended up having to meet my aunt Becky and cousin Andrew at a restaurant in Johnson County (instead of having them here at the house, as originally planned). But I'm going to work like an angry little beaver (personally, Norbert's my role model) and somehow get my life entirely in shape within the next 12 days. x_x
