Jun. 10th, 2005 11:33 amI got Shaolin Soccer from the library, so I'll be watching that today. Here's hoping it's as good as Kung Fu Hustle. :D
Also, a PSA: if you buy a new stove, don't automatically assume that the knobs for the burners are located in the same place. My mom keeps doing that, and ends up turning on a burner she doesn't mean to - generally one with a pan/something on top of it that then burns. x_x
Let's Positive Linking!
- An article on the effort that goes into producing a successful book. I want to read this book now. Pirates + Charles Darwin = TEH WIN.
- Remember when Batman scaled Buckingham Palace a while back? That was part of this, which is another Guardian story about dads suing for custody. Their method of getting the message out? Dressing up as superheroes and doing crazy-ass stunts. But apparently now Batman and Robin have splintered off to form their own "deadbeat-dads-dressed-as-superheroes" group, because they didn't toe the line enough. XD
- Also, I've now found a must-purchase - Ringu: Anthology of Terror. Not only will it have Ring, Ring 2 and Ring 0: Birthday, it also has the original nonentity sequel to Ring, Rasen ("Spiral"). When Rasen did so abysmally, that's when they did Ring 2, which basically operates on the assumption that Rasen doesn't exist.
