Happy New Year, everybody! Hope you're not TOO hung over. ;)
My list of New Year's resolutions is...well, pretty much the same as it is every year. (There are a few new things on it, though.) It is as follows:
1. Be less judgmental and more willing to give people the benefit of the doubt.
2. Go to the gym regularly. (Not so good about it this year, but brand new year means brand new start!)
3. Find out more about my heritage. I've kind of been more interested in it lately, especially on my dad's side given that I don't know a lot about it and a lot of the people who are part of it are really really old and I'm not sure how much longer they'll be around.
4. Be more prudent in my spending. I tend to be kind of a consumerholic. -_-;
5. Ummm...eat healthier? (Like that's going to happen.)
I got a pleasant surprise yesterday. A large package arrived in the mail from
shisochou. I went, "hmmm, this is kinda big. I wonder what it is." Lo and behold, it turned out to be a boatload of Persona doujinshi! :D :D :D
Oh man, Arch, you rock so much it's not even funny. Thank you! :D
MyChristmas New Year's Generic Winter Holiday packages should be going out Monday or Tuesday. I just have to do some baking tomorrow to finish them off.
I've progressed a little further in Silent Hill 4. It became a lot easier when I figured out how to USE that steel pipe I've been dragging around for an hour. (The weapon use is, needless to say, a little counterintuitive.) I kept looking through the control setup to find out how to attack, and finally I figured out that "pose" takes you into a viewpoint from which you can use X to attack. It helps being able to beat the shit out of things instead of running helplessly. XD
