Graahhh...must...get...sleepy...
Nov. 10th, 2004 12:52 amSeveral people have recently joined my friendslist, so I figure I'd give you a heads-up on what to expect in this journal. There's a lot of "today I did such and such, then I did such and such," so don't expect this to be a thrill-a-minute. I try to avoid pointless angst, but there is occasionally some of the pointy variety. There is much geekage over video games, manga, anime, and my dead gay TV shows. At times I like to post brain-breakingly bad porn. Consider yourselves forewarned.
...OK, I am now officially insomniac. Given that I'm wide awake and show no signs of getting sleepy any time soon, I've decided to work on the map assignment I have to do for my Environmental Science class. It's kind of moronic - WTF is up with all the geography in an environmental science class? I thought that was what the geography department was there for - but I've gotta do it so I may as well do it now. (Also, I need to take advantage of this time to work on my classwork, since I never do anything on it at home or at work unless I'm writing a paper at the last minute, and my grades are suffering as a result. Seriously, I made a C on the Philosophy exam I got back today. Argh, that sucks, especially since I know if I'd bothered to, y'know, do the reading I'd have an easy A. Damn my lack of initiative.)
So, while I write on the amount of cubic meters of wood cut for fuel and charcoal every year in Ecuador (no joke), I will leave you with some links to visit.

- Sanrio plans to release a Hello Kitty MMORPG. OMGWTFBBQ. Sadly, though, this looks kind of fun - like Animal Crossing slathered in sugary Pepto-Bismol.
- Also from RPGFan, there are new English screenshots of the Full Metal Alchemist RPG. I like this one and felt like posting it simply because the font they use make Al (the big armored guy) look like A1 (the popular brand of steak sauce). Yes, I'm easily amused.
- Japanese website allows women to post their boobs for rating. Kind of like "Is My Chest Hot or Not?"
- Also from the Land of the Rising Sun, a glut of sex workers forces prostitutes to get normal jobs. From working girl to...well, actually working girl.
- And in the last link from WaiWai, increasing number of elementary school students having sex. It's sad when at the ancient age of 21, I'm shaking my head and saying, "Tsk, tsk, kids these days."
...this is kind of random, but I think I need to learn to mellow out more.
