Suteki suteeki, TV and haircut
Nov. 8th, 2004 09:58 pmI've had so much good food lately, I've been spoiled on the regular stuff. Lamar's for breakfast yesterday, steak for dinner, super-spicy Popeye's for lunch today...going back to ramen and mac and cheese ain't gonna be easy.
I was kinda bad today. I bought Marmalade Boy box 2 and Katamari Damacy on Overstock.com. See, I've spent the past couple of weeks marathoning the first box of MB (that I got a while ago) and Greg the Bunny (which series they've finally released on DVD, thank God). But I've finished all my MB episodes and all but one episode of Greg, and I'm going into TV withdrawals. (I mean, the Tru Calling season 1 box set isn't going to be out until the end of November! How will I survive until then?)
( Basic info on Marmalade Boy... )
( ...and my opinions )
( How can you not like a show with Seth Green, Eugene Levy, and Muppet hookers? )
This evening I went to get a haircut. Oh man, I'd forgotten how good it feels to have someone else wash my hair. (They always do a better job of it than I do because I'm rushing to get done with my shower and get in to class or work, whereas they can spend five minutes sudsing up my hair.) I actually like my haircut also - it doesn't seem too long or too short, but instead just right (the "Goldilocks zone").
I have to go because there's a moth fluttering around trying to kill me, but I'll leave you with this (link courtesy of
angrybabble). I wish we'd had kids' TV like this when I was a kid. XD
