I've had a whole bunch of weird real-life stuff goin' down this weekend - expect a post on all that tonight. But in the meantime...retarded fannish post! :D

The mangaka of Fruits Basket wins the official Mangaka I Would Most Like to Hang Out With award. I mean, come on, she loves console RPGs, including the Megaten games. She was actually playing Persona 2 during the early chapters of FB - she talks about it in her author's notes. So she officially rocks.

While at the bookstore, I splurged and also picked up the new Amano book (The Complete Prints of Yoshitaka Amano). I had a 15% off coupon, so it only ran about $36, but still, yeesh. On the other hand, OMG SO GORGEOUS!!!1!

( Everyone should play Nippon Ichi games. You have no excuse. )

Edit: Oh, I forgot to mention, but I got the free Disgaea mini-artbook this weekend. It's pretty nice, and there's better versions of the art from the good ending plus some miscellaneous art (Overlord Prier/Priere, Fallen Angel Flonne, Succubi, and the Omega Wind and Omega Star thingies). [Also edited to add LJ-cut]
