Wow,
GameFAQs' front page has a message about how Chris MacDonald (a.k.a.
Kao Megura), one of the major contributors to GameFAQs over the years, died earlier this week. I remember reading his FFVII FAQ years ago and being really impressed by it. Basically, if you've ever read a fighting game or FFVII FAQ, you've probably read one of Kao Megura's. And his death is especially sad because he was so young.
On a lighter note, in this week's
Ain't It Cool News anime report, this bit made me laugh out loud:
"
TV anime "Agatha Christie no Meitantei Poirot to Marple" (Agatha Christie's Great Detectives Poirot and Marple) will commence broadcast on NHK on July 4th 2004 at 7.30pm." XD
Also of the good:
Tru Calling has officially been renewed. I feel like doing a happy dance now.
Edit: And because I'm a history major, and my area of specialization is the Tudors, a quiz from
jokersama:

Which of Henry VIII's wives are you?
this quiz was made by the lycanthropes at SpookbotHa ha, I get the intelligent one (i.e., the one that SURVIVED). And hey, she survived the reign of Henry's children, the Protestant Edward and the Catholic Mary, as well - and that was no mean feat, especially considering she was favored by both. It probably helped that she was a Protestant princess, so Edward liked her, but she was nice to Mary and obligingly converted to Catholicism in her reign. w00t for pragmatists.
