Happy No Pants Day, y'all.
Picked up La Pucelle yesterday evening...pretty fun so far. It's obviously a bit more primitive than Disgaea - natural, considering that it came out much earlier. So far I think I like Disgaea's story better, plus the fact that you could recruit and name human (well, humanoid) party members rather than having only monsters who come with really stupid and uneditable names (such as "Bit Me!" or "Bones Feeling"). Also, I don't like Pucelle's voice acting or story as much, though they're both still pretty well-done. The battle system I like, though - it's fun leveling your items up through Dark Energy, and much less tedious than the Item World - and I like the characters (though again, not as much as Disgaea). Keep in mind that all of this is preliminary, given that I've just hit the beginning of Chapter 2. But this is really making me want to pick up Rhapsody if I can find a copy (not to mention giving me a Pavlov's dog slobber reflex at the thought of Phantom Brave).
Went over today and saw my stepmom and baby brother today. Blah blah OMG CUTEST KID EVAR blah blah. (He really is just adorable - he's gonna be 2 in August and he currently enjoys sharing his cookies, carrying stuffed animals in his mouth and clotheslining you with a pillow.)
