Some fucking scary shit. "No global warming" my ass.
A report on this year's Posting Board Party (and another.) It's now been retitled the "Wolfram and Hart Annual Review." And unfortunately, it's looking like there's almost no chance that Angel will be saved, according to the writers. ;_;
Well, I've taken it easy this weekend. I've mostly just been playing Final Fantasy Origins, in which I've just reached Melmond, and reading Beneath a Silent Moon, by Tracy Grant (the new prequel to Daughter of the Game, which I reviewed in this entry). It's quite good, though not quite as emotionally wrenching as its predecessor. To be honest, after completely tearing down this couple and then rebuilding them in Daughter, one would think she'd be wanting more to write a sequel dealing with their tentative new relationship, rather than one that takes place two years before (though it does explain quite a lot of Charles' insecurities in Daughter). Oh well, maybe that'll have to wait for her third book.
And my stepdad has recently started applying for lecturer positions at several British universities. They'd all start this upcoming fall, but if he got one of them, he and my mom would move there while I'd just finish up my history degree (screw the English) and be able to graduate in December. Then I'd spend the next semester with them in England, until I started grad school (and perhaps after, depending on which grad school I got into and whether it was British or American). If he gets one of these, that would pretty much rock teh roof. :D
