Making the world safe for women?
Jan. 8th, 2004 10:57 pmWell, I've been discovering the wonder that is Internet radio. Man, I want to set up a station of my own! I wonder if my brother would lend me the server space...
Saw tonight's Tru Calling ("Closure") - it was good, though not as good as the last new episode I saw (the one where the professor she'd been dating was the victim). When I heard the whole "the victim is a soldier who fought in Afghanistan" I thought it would end up being some horrible jingoistic thing, but it really turned out to be incidental - just a setup for his terminal illness. The actors were pretty good, though for some reason, the one girl - Bridget, I think - reminded me scarily of Mandy Moore. (And hey, they had setup for the big episode with her father in a few weeks!)
And next week all-new Angel begins again...with a Harmony-centric episode! :D
Anyway, now that I've gotten all the dresspheres save Mascot, I need to get that damned Ribbon from under Bevelle. I swear that puzzle is going to drive me crazy...
Edit: Oh, I forgot to mention it before, but I got a job! As a workstudy at the UMKC Women's Center, in fact. (Yeah, I know, I'm an odd choice, being male, but I've got so much experience from helping out my mom when she worked there that I was a shoo-in.) So...work, which equals money, which equals fun things for me and saving for grad school in England. Score!
