Good hair day
Jul. 2nd, 2003 05:03 pmYesterday I was thinking about how little time has actually passed since things got so traumatic. I mean, a month ago I was having a bit of a tough time (this was somewhere in between the squash in my laptop and missing a final exam), but things were still pretty good. I was still in England, no one had left yet, no major bad news from home yet...and now in the intervening month I've had the four hardest moments of my life. x_x
ANYWAY, on to a more cheerful subject - I dyed my hair last night. Just blond highlights, not the whole thing. Unfortunately, though, the effect is a little more subtle than I was hoping for - in other words, you have to be looking closely to see that there are strands of gold among the dark. That's why I won't post any pictures - I don't think they'd come out very well. I think it looks cool, but I think next time I'm going to go for something a little more drastic. XD
Nothing much else going on...today's been quiet. Mostly reading and playing a bit of Suikoden III. (I'm now in Hugo's Chapter Two and damn it, I am going to kick Yuber's ass if it is the last thing I do!)
