Attack of the Robot Yosi.

Today has been quite odd. I've been feeling very detached all afternoon. I actually made a trip into the town centre to get some magazines (Private Eye, recommended by satsu, and Horoscope). I just got back and realized that during that entire trip - a good half an hour - I don't think I cracked a single expression. Not even the football (soccer) player bouncing a ball on his head in the middle of the town centre managed to make me react.

This is quite uncharacteristic of me, given that I'm usually a super-expressive person who's always smiling or frowning or laughing - in other words, in real life I'm much like I am online. (Yes, I am an emoticon abuser.)

...I hope this stops soon. I'd like to start feeling emotions again.

In other news, I watched the first .hack//SIGN OAV, "Liminality." Quite good, actually - I liked it very much. I'll probably spend the rest of the day watching anime, so expect a more extensive report on my viewing habits later on.

For some reason, every time I visit fanfiction.net, I feel inspired to work on my own writing. Mostly because I think to myself, "My God, I KNOW I can write better stuff than 99.9% of this." :)

So, I'm currently in a fiction-writing mood. I haven't decided whether I'll work on fanfic - there's my partially complete Persona 2 fanfic, not to mention the horrid yaoi cliche FFT fic I promised jokersama - or on my original fiction writing - specifically, a science fiction novel I'm working on. Probably the latter, given that it's been coming up a lot in my thoughts the past couple of days. I think I have some new ideas that will make it clearer and better than it was before. :)

If I have time, I'll also work some more on the SMT TCG translation. I wish I'd managed to get it finished before classes started - now I've got a lot less time, due to all the reading I have to do for my classes. -_-

Oh, and I managed to get over my mysterious detachment by reading the funniest thing I could think of - a review of Christina Aguilera's music video for Dirrty by Mrs. Giggles. That snapped me right out of it. XD
