I'm such a slacker.
Feb. 3rd, 2003 06:14 pmWhat I was supposed to go to today:
Romantic Vision lecture, 9 a.m.-11 a.m.
The Victorian World lecture, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Romantic Vision seminar, 4 p.m.-5 p.m.
What I actually went to:
Romantic Vision lecture, 9 a.m.-11 a.m.
The Victorian World lecture, 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
On the plus side, I had a fun time this afternoon watching all the anime I've recently downloaded to try out. Here's my general thoughts:

jokersama. Incredibly cute, obviously crack-inspired, and amazingly addictive. Plus the five-minute running lengths make it a good show if you don't have large blocks of free time.
Kodomo no Omocha - I'd read the Miho Obana manga and loved it. The anime series, while it's not quite as good so far, is still quite good. It's amazing how well Sana's zany energy translates to the small screen. And Rei as her pimp never stops being funny no matter how many times I hear it. :D
Star Ocean EX - I officially <3 this show. It's no surprise, I love the game (it's based on Star Ocean: The Second Story for PSX), but it's cool to see it translated into an anime. A GOOD one, at that.
Captain N the Game Master - I know this doesn't really count as anime, but I'm putting it in her anyway. I decided to watch it for the nostalgia value...my God, that show was horrible. I can't believe I actually liked it when I was little. (I also can't believe Nintendo greenlighted this ghastly Mary Sue crossover show. Gah.)
Oh, and I also got my delivery of groceries from Tesco Online. I swear, this is such a good deal. Do your shopping online, and then get it delivered for a mere £5. Plus it helps if you're buying lots of large things - like 1-litre bottles of Frijj. <3
And all I can say is, I'm SO sleeping through my 9 a.m. seminar tomorrow morning.
