Jesus, WTF. It got up to almost sixty earlier today, and now it's like 20 degrees outside (and getting colder) and snowing. MIDWESTERN WEATHER I HATE YOU SO MUCH

Anyway, I made a new baketothefuture post if anyone is interested, about some lemon cupcakes that turned out not entirely perfect but still okay. It is a goal of mine to document my cooking more! (Which will have to involve actually cooking more, I suppose.)

It was the same here. About 50 with obscenely high winds. 90% of the snow melted but that's the worst possible thing since it will just all refreeze into extremely slick ice over night. DAMN YOU, MOTHER NATURE!

Ya know, a pretty similar thing happened here in NE. It was pretty nice yesterday (technically 2 days ago as of the time I write this). It wasn't super great, but it was a refreshing "jacket weather" compared to "wearing your winter coat weather."

Now today (technically yesterday) was "wearing your winter coat with your jacket under it and still feeling the cold somehow pierce through" weather.

It just seems so unnatural for the weather to drop 50+ degrees in like 5 hours. :(
