"Fire! Fire! Fire! ...Cat?"

David: We're supposed to be in school.
Jennifer: We're supposed to be at home, David. We're supposed to be in color!

...You know, Pleasantville was such an underrated film. I just watched it again for the first time in a long while, and DUDE. How can you not like a movie with Tobey Maguire, Reese Witherspoon, Joan Allen and William H. Macy? (Plus Jeff Daniels, Don Knotts and Jonathan and Riley from Buffy!) And there's also the fact that, disregarding the casting, it's just a damn well-written, fun and funny movie lampooning nostalgia with the best use of color since The Wizard of Oz. (As an extra bonus, Orson Scott Card seems to think it's the devil's movie for its godless portrayal of something-or-other!) :D

Let's Positive Linking!
- Sony sucks donkey balls. And more here. Basically, certain Sony copy-protected CDs now install malware on your computer that leaves it open to all kinds of nasty viruses (not to mention sending Sony information on your use of the CD). And folks have already used it to make World of Warcraft cheating possible. Way to go, SONY FUCKTARDS. (All from [livejournal.com profile] gedrean.)
- Texas bans marriage! Of course, that's not what they intended to do. Let this be a lesson as to the importance of proper language and logic. (From [livejournal.com profile] firestorm717.)

That malware thing is scary O_O. I'd heard rumors about this kind of stuff, but...now, aren't they coming out with some copy protection that would prevent a music CD from being used after you copy it a certain number of times? (Although you could probably just rip to mp3 or make a bin/cue image file to get around it, but still...) Lamerz >_>.
