Well, got a lot of reading done during exam proctoring on Saturday, but achieved approximately nothing yesterday (as I slept late and vegetated for a large part of the day). So this balances out to my average amount of weekend work, which is not good given I have a presentation tomorrow and a presentation Thursday. WOE.

- I had not heard that Chuck Palahniuk came out. I have to admit I was highly amused by reading about the homophobic Fight Club fans who were all "NOOOOO MY MANLY COUNTERCULTURE IDOL CANNOT HAVE TEH GAY!!!1!" XD
- OHSHIT IT'S A NINJA. Seriously, this guy is awesome. Why can't we have fun shows like this? (The closest we ever got was American Gladiators, I think, which was awesome cheesy fun...whatever happened to that show anyway?)
- Also, society is officially over with. (This and above from jokersama.) That link has a YouTube video. Where a radio show in Jacksonville offered free Larry the Cable Guy tickets to people who were willing to make out with their moms. OH GOD this presentation is killing me; I've finished the book and pretty much sorted out what I'm going to talk about, so now I just have to integrate my three files of notes (adding up to about 10 single-spaced pages) into presentation notes and a handout. And somehow trim it all down into 20 minutes, joy. Just in time to go to bed and get up super-early tomorrow morning to work on Beowulf. And I also have a hojillion pages of Malory's Morte D'Arthur to read sometime between now and 6 tomorrow evening.

AUGH WHY DO I TORTURE MYSELF LIKE THIS, WHY COULDN'T I HAVE GONE INTO SOMETHING SIMPLE LIKE INSURANCE SALES OR APPLIANCE REPAIR OR BRAIN SURGERY
