Seriously, I went for Soccer because Daisuke seemed more interesting-looking, and also I like soccer more than basketball (insofar as I actually like any sports), but he ended up being kinda boring personality-wise in his first appearance. So I reset and went for Kou as my main, hoping he'd be more interesting (he seemed to be just from his brief appearance at the soccer club) and HE'S HILARIOUS.

In other news, apparently KC Trip ver. 2.0 is now back on schedule, and I'll be leaving on TODAY's bus instead, and getting in late tonight. I do think it might have worked out okay, though, since I feel better for having an actual day of recuperation post-finals week where I didn't have to do anything before heading home into the craziness that is the holiday season.

...though I am now having to face the facts that I have very little of my Christmas shopping done, which is leaving me rather petrified at having to face the malls over the next few days. D:

Oh my God. I chose Daisuke, but in one of the later scenarios, Kou is there and makes a bunch of references to throwing balls at the protagonist or something. It was AWESOME. I wish I was more attentive so I could be more specific, but you obviously know what I mean. I made the wrong choice.

And holy crap, everyone in this game is gay, right? Well, except for the protagonist, who doesn't have a personality. Does anyone actually identify with a protagonist more because he or she lacks a personality? I guess people must.

Also re: silent personality-less protagonists, I dunno...I always prefer to play an already-defined character, but in a game like this I think it works better (since you're essentially defining most moments of this character's life, mostly through social interaction, it makes sense to be able to define his personality as well). But in most RPGs with a silent protagonist, it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense to me. :(
