Haha, except I don't think that's the case with my mom; I mean, I'm fairly certain all she knows about the TMNT is that they are, in fact, mutant turtles who happen to be teenaged ninjas, so I don't think she was calling to verify a bit of canon or something...bobthetrout suggested maybe she was doing a "which TMNT are you" online quiz, but since I can't imagine anything she'd be less likely to do, I'm still mystified.
