Backloggery

[livejournal.com profile] nemissa recently posted about an awesome site, The Backloggery. You can create a library of your videogames and label which ones are incomplete or in various levels of completion. I've created my own backlog page; it still needs some work, but you can see where I am on a lot of my games currently (and how shamefully few I have completed).

The cool thing is that you can embed a list of the games you're currently working on, like so:

Added back!

Man, I am envious of your completion ratio though! And my lackluster gameplaying over the past few years hasn't necessarily just been a time matter; often it's "I meant to play but got distracted on Wikipedia for 5 hours, no gaming today whoops." D:

I think the site encourages anal standards for "completion" though! I have very few games I labelled "complete," just because I often beat a game, may come back to it, but won't necessarily do everything for it (like bitchass-hard sidequests and such; like I still haven't beaten NSync!Sephiroth in KH or KHII). But I do consider something completed if I've done everything, within reason, to complete the game (so, for example, I have to completely fill out the item list for an Atelier game, but don't necessarily have to fill out every stat of every monster in the monster log).

It only means I have no life. ;o; But I know what you mean about being distracted by Wikipedia for hours. I wonder how much lower my score would be if I could remember everything I rented/played ROMs of, though... well, maybe you're just supposed to stick to stuff you actually own.

That's probably a much saner way to look at it. XD

Yeah, that's what I did (just put what I own); unfortunately a lot of my PSX games were stolen a few years back, so I no longer own a lot of the games that I beat/completed, back when I played videogames moar. D:

And truly completing something like Tactics Ogre is an accomplishment that I'd like to put on there! Unfortunately I haven't been able to find another copy of the PSX game for love or a reasonable amount of money. D:
