And part of that is because if you have any kind of nonstandard body type (for example, unlike a lot of guys I do gain weight in the hips/thighs, so men's pants can sometimes fit my waist but be uncomfortable tight in that area), the fashion industry is not very friendly. And even if you DO have a standard body type, I suppose...folks I know with model-worthy figures still have trouble finding things that fit properly, or have to deal with the vagaries of proprietary sizing. D:
