apparently he's a HUGE fan of the games, especially 2. screenplay written by Roger Avary, best known for such fine films as Pulp Fiction and Killing Zoe. :D a lot of the people behind costumes, lighting, and set design worked on the Underworld and Blade movies. even if you didn't care for either of those movies and their ensuing sequels, you have to admit they were awfully great in the eye candy department. ;)
