I just realized that I'VE FORGOTTEN HOW TO BURP. ;_;
I got called on at random in my Romantic Lit class today, but fortunately this time I'd done the reading and I was able to bring up a good point. However, I think I need to start thinking about my reading a bit more - I dunno, deeply? Because whenever I contribute, I generally manage to zoom in on exactly the right area - I'll draw attention to something that's particularly problematic or interesting. Then the professor says, "Very good! Now, what does it mean? What's its significance?"
And I'm all "errrr. I hadn't really thought about that. Let me get back to you."
I'm mostly griping about it because it happened, like, half a dozen times today. x_x
