Hey, I have some headphones like that. (audio-technica and in a similar style, but a different model). They're pretty comfortable and sound quite decent, though they do leak sound a bit. The only gripe I have about them is that the cord is kind of short, and way too long if you use the metre long extension cord they came with.
That style of headphone seems to be really popular in Japan at the moment. Saw them all over the place when I was there for a couple weeks in May.
