I can barely write 1 thesis, let alone 95

gogmagogI've been meaning to blog about this for ages, but the last time I was at ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
lordtravis and teachingmusic's, we were channel-surfing and came upon an evangelical show where the (obviously born-again) televangelist was offering, in exchange for donations, "citizen of Heaven" drivers' license-style passes. He kept advertising them as "proof that you're going to heaven."
...The more things change, the more they stay the same.
It's especially ironic because, as with most born-again sects, he was obviously a Protestant of some sort.
In other news, my seminar paper is coming along slowly (VERY slowly) but surely. I'm hoping to pound out a good chunk of it on Friday, or at least enough to be able to pass around a decent 5-page chunk to my classmates and have enough of a specific idea of where EXACTLY I'm going with the rest of it that I can present on it coherently. Here's hopin'.
My goal is actually to get the entire draft done by next Friday, which was the original due date before our prof gave us an extra week on Monday...that way I can download and watch the S4 premiere of Doctor Who completely guilt-free.
Finally, a meme:
Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it.
Ask for anything: latest movie watched, last book read, political leanings, thoughts on yaoi, favorite type of underwear, writing techniques, etc.
