Well, your sister does sound sane, though maybe it's because of the eggs; she's getting the natural antipsychotic the rest of us are getting and that the crazy vegans are missing out on! XD
And yeah, I've heard that about sugar too...I guess at that point you'd use some sugar substitute like stevia or somesuch. (I wonder whether honey's allowable? Or is honey also ZOMG BEE RAPE? WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE BEES)
