I think the first one is a little more likely to be a troll...but then, wank even started in the comments over someone who said they agreed with them (though they then acknowledged that they only agreed with the "I like anime art better than Western art" part, which is bad enough, but at least they weren't necessarily down with the "it's not even art, they're fat and pasty because they are not kawaii neko-miko-maid-loli-tans"). So it's not like there aren't people out there who'd say that. D:

True, I've seen many a soul-killing "secret" on there before - I didn't post the one on my LJ about the undergrad guy who wore formal clothing to class every day and was convinced he was going to be able to get three Ph.D.'s and get an academic job and become a writer, and who also happened to be gay and only attracted to gamer guys. And then was all "duh, why don't they want to date me?" MAYBE BECAUSE YOU'RE LIKE THE UNHOLY ALLIANCE OF ANNOYING OVERACHIEVING PRETENTIOUS STUDENT AND LOG CABIN REPUBLICAN (in manner if not in politics).

With this one, it was just seeing these two in the same post that just sent me over the edge. D:
